The table legs are made of steel, covered with gold trim. The original Bretz frame is hand finished. The tabletop material is burnt oak in the Japanese style "Shou Sugi Ban", impregnated with resin or with a White Stone surface - a matte abrasion-resistant coating (a mixture of epoxy resins and quartz).
The table is intentionally not perfectly smooth, giving it the look and feel of a handcrafted piece.
